adventure log (gm-robind)
:: Sidequest – “Mirror, mirror..”
Party finds themselves in a forest on a starless and eerie night. They see what seems to be their elf comrade Roin, prone. Dying. Dead. In his final throes, he points towards a cave past a copse of trees, exclaiming “father…”
The party continues, is assaulted by the trees of the grove. These corrupted sylvans entangle the party, through their boughs and arborial projectiles proved no match for the heroic teams might and magic. The forest had a greater ally however.. a beast of the forest, an Ochu, a botanical monstrosity loomed as a vine-tentacled deity across the face of the sky. The party retreated into the cave just as it released a cloud of spores… something.
Party …does … bored.
:: Sidequest – “Snowy”
A peeling wail sounded across the fort of Redhold. Footsteps, a frantic mother burst through the tent flap into Tohren’s dwelling. At his feet she pleads, “my son! my son has been taken!”
The Antivan rogue wakes to join the investigation. Two sets of tracks, the young boys and a gigantic set belonging to some enormous biped. They lead away from the village. The two set off with the dawn to retrieve the child.
The tracks lead to an abandoned hut on a high bluff overlooking a great hill to a treeline below. Our heroes improvise snowboards from the hut and hang ten. The Avvarian does not fare as well as his more agile companion and is ambushed by a pack of glacial imps. Dispatching these foes, they continue on to the clearing where they find a subterranean entrance to a realm of roots and cascading sheets of water that can be melted and frozen to divide many chambers within.
Upon navigating the labyrinth, the duo discover the child. They are soon beset by what is no other than a Yeti, and they do magnificent battle. The beast shows remarkable cunning, setting a trap that pits the two against two hordes of ice imps. They wisely hid as the ice imps began to battle one another, though they were subsequently drawn into the fray against the victorious hive of imps. The queen of this hive escaped, her minions slain save that of a greater ice elemental. It was a harrowing battle to combat the elemental in a place favorable to its element, but the party ultimately succeeded.
They continued in their pursuit of the Yeti to its private quarters where it was evidenced that the yeti had abducted many other children before. The duo ransack the place, inspiring a raging Yeti to assail the party with a renewed bloodlust. Another rogue, Duerrim, defrosts from a icicle-meat-locker in the previous chamber and stumbles into the fray to lend his blade. Between the three of them, they have a close victory against the mighty Yeti. The insolent child is stashed and the party, along with their dwarven addition, make their escape.
On escape, they are assaulted once more by the queen glacial imp. It is only through the diplomacy of the dwarven rogue that the party is spared and they make their way back to Redhold.
So how do i add something to the Character Sheet?
